Anyone?

Project type: Orihon Style Folding Booklet

For this project, I design an Orihon-style folding booklet visualizing my interview partner's unique personality and character. Collect information about them in order to interpret and transform my research into a compelling design using abstract pattern development, storytelling, poetry, quotes, lyrics, etc. 

For my booklet 'Anyone?', on the front side, I emphasized the mental health issues that my partner is facing, and also show how she feels judged by anything she does by anyone. I only use black and pink colors to demonstrate the sadness, negative, and mystery feelings. On the backside, I concentrate on showing what brings her joy, which are animals (especially cats) and music. I use the same color palette, but this time I add on the orange color in order to create a happy and joyful vibe, which contrasts with the front side.
